Group booking FAQ’s
Clothes: The sessions are no-where near as mucky as you may at first think. However, the wearing of old clothes is advisable. We provide aprons for the potter’s wheel activity.
Drink: Complimentary tea, coffee and squash is provided. Feel free to bring your own alcoholic beverages and snacks.
Food: Although we are unable to provide food, many of our customers like to bring a picnic. This can be consumed either on the pottery lawn, the Potting Tent marquee or in the studio, during the spring and summer.
Finished work: Your creations will need to dry thoroughly before they can be fired and glazed. This takes between 2 – 4 weeks depending on drying conditions. We will contact you after this period to arrange a time for you to pick up the work from the Pottery. Alternatively we can post your pots at cost to one address. (£30 – £50 depending on weight and size of consignment)

A happy customer
“We recently had a hen party at Eastnor pottery and did the coil pot making and taster on the wheel. It was such a fun afternoon, Jon was a good laugh and it was a lovely atmosphere……..we also took some prosecco along with us too that helped our creativity! Jon is a great teacher and it was really fun to each have a go on the wheel which was guided really well and the results were surprisingly all pretty good! We also each made and painted something using the coil technique, from candle holders and jugs to tortoises and penguins! The studio is beautiful and in such a pretty spot! Jon and his daughter were so welcoming and I would really recommend a workshop here.” Anwen
