Ellen’s pottery birthday party

Ellen and her friends proudly show off their wonderful pottery animals in the snow covered garden at eastnor pottery herefordshiregrown-ups enjoy the snow at eastnor pottery herefordshireEllen and all her guests made it through the snow to celebrate her 5th birthday at the weekend…and what a lovely bunch they were too.

The family have participated in numerous Eastnor Pottery workshops over the years including a potter’s wheel weekend and birthday parties for both children.

The party goers made some fabulous colourful critters without a duplicate beastie in sight – all the children made individual animals including a zebra, turtle and reindeer.

Once the clay had been tidied away and the picnic consumed there was still time for a snowball fight in the Pottery garden. Not sure who had the most fun, the kids or grown-ups!!

Ice drawing

Something very art nouveau about this years offering.

Vale of Evesham Special School visit Pottery

vale of evesham special school visit eastnor pottery in herefordshire to work with jon the potterEach year a group of students from the Vale of Evesham Special School visit the Pottery to make pots and enjoy working with clay. It’s a delight to host the group and we always look forward to their visit.

This year the young people made and painted mugs that we’ll fire and glaze in time for Mother’s day.

The children will be reunited with their creations  in a few weeks time when they make a follow-up visit to collect their work and take advantage of our excellent picnic facilities!
