As promised, here are the photos of the fired and glazed, Roald Dahl’s The Twits inspired pottery masterpieces from our week long residency at Eastnor Castle in August.
If you would like to see the work in the flesh then please take a look in the Dry Cleaners shop window in Ledbury High Street as from Monday 8th October. The work will be displayed until the end of November – see if you can find your contribution!

Some beautifuly made pottery items picked up from the studio at the weekend by their creators. I think dad was particulary well chuffed with his effort – a ceramic minion from the film Dispicable me. For close-ups please take a look at our facebook page.
If you would like to spend some time at Eastnor Pottery making pretty much whatever you wanted – please take a look at our drop-in sessions for individuals and small groups or email admin@eastnorpottery.co.uk or tel 01531 633886.
Best friend Liz arranged a surprise potter’s wheel workshopfor Donna’s birthday and judging by her reaction as she entered the studio, probably one of the best kept secrets this side of Milton Keynes – she was flabbergasted and quite overcome – brilliant stuff!
The girls and their respective husbands spent the day on the potter’s wheels making some pretty amazing pots. I was quietly confident of the potential quality when they revealed their occupations: x2 graphic designers and x2 builders! Creatives and those who have an understanding of materials (bakers, builders, artisans) generally excel themselves. Donna, Liz, Nick and Richard certainly didn’t disappoint!
