Mudrunner Classic 2015

Eastnor Pottery Team Photo after Mudrunner 2015Terribly sad that the 2015 Mudrunner Classic held in October was likely to be the last Mudrunner event held in Eastnor. Team Eastnor Pottery have taken part in the race nearly as long as we’ve been making the clay medals presented to those who actually make it to the finish line. We’ll be very sad to see it go and must congratulate Mudrunner organisers D3, on the magnificent job of facilitating the event over the past six years. #sad

Brilliant Pinch Pot Squirrel made at Eastnor Pottery Children's holiday workshopOur regular children’s workshops in October half term were a very autumnal affair with youngsters from around the three counties making clay squirrels, acorns and oak leaves.

All participants took a turn on the potter’s wheel as well as experiencing other making techniques.

Our next holiday workshops take place 17th Feb 2016 in half term. For more details and to reserve a place please contact the Pottery Tel: 01531 633886 or email admin@eastnorpottery.co.uk

Is there a clay Dr in the house?

Group of doctors at Eastnor Pottery for Potter's Wheel experience

We had so much fun with this group of medical professionals who booked the Pottery one Saturday evening for a birthday celebration.

The group consisted of surgeons and doctors who had been friends since medical school. Everybody converged on Eastnor from the far flung corners of the UK. Some travelling all day to make their pottery.

The party of 18 booked our 1.5hr shared potter’s wheel offer and were able to produce two or three pots each before the close.

We’ll fire and glaze their creations ready for collection from the Pottery in a months time.

The gift of clay

Two happy girls with brilliant pottery pieces at EastnorThe aspiring potter on the right purchased an Eastnor Pottery Gift Voucher as a surprise birthday present for her friend. Once date and time had been booked in advance, the girls spent an enjoyable morning each making a pot on the Potter’s Wheel. They also took the opportunity to paint their marvellous creations. A birthday to remember and we look forward to seeing them again soon.
